I am selling my original, version 1 Daisy Red Ryder BB gun. This is from 1940 and is the very first Red Ryder version ever produced. It has the cast iron cocking lever, adjustable rear site and copper colored (barely visible until you slide the band off) forearm band and front site. It has been played with and shows wear from its age and use. It has some light surface rust on some of the metal (not bad) and wear on the wood especially the butt stock. It has a small eyelet added to the butt stock, probably for a strap. It is missing the leather landyard that is supposed to hang off the metal ring. It still shoots fine. I'm not really wanting to get rid of it as I know I will never find another. This thing is rare. It comes with an old rifle sleeve. I will accept paypal and am willing to ship it anywhere within the lower 48 states for $20.00.
