Planter John Deere 7100.  This planter is set up on a double bar.  The front bar has hiniker row cleaners which we only use the front coulter and we have taken off the back clearing disk on these units.  The back bar holds the John Deere row units yetter trash sweeps and transmission.  We mainly used this planter for no tilling corn and it worked great.  This planter has a ground driven transmisson and uses a duo rate gear reductrion system to reduce populations on the go by 20%.  The finger pickups are gone through before every planting season.  The wire harness is two years old on this planter.  If you want a simple and efficint planter then this planter is the one.
