Ever seen one of these? I hadn't until recently when I took this in on trade. Daewoo Precision Industries (South Korean) Model DR-200, imported by Kimber when they were in Clackamas, OR back in 1994-1995. This is touted as the original piston AR since it combines an AK style piston that runs an AR style bolt. Takes AR magazines and is chambered for .223/5.56 ammo. Simple takedown and runs much cleaner than an AR due to no gas fouling in the breech.
