Selling a very well taken care of 1978 Ford Grain truck.  It was owned by the same farmer for the past 30 years.  It is actually equipped with a 427 Chevy gas engine, and a 5 speed transmission with 2 speed rearend. The rear axle is an up/down tag axle.  I just put on a brand new Edelbrock carburetor and a new fuel pump.  The brakes have a lot of new parts as well.  It is truly a great running and driving truck.  The steering and transmission are both tight and the brakes are strong.  It actually has pretty good power for a gas burner.  It has a 20ft. Kann Aluminum box with 60 in. sides.  It can haul over 600 bushels.  The box is lifted by a twin cylinder Omaha standard hoist.  Box is in great condition. Interior of the truck is very nice and clean for an older grain truck.  Tires are all quite good.  Was just used to haul corn and is ready to go to work.  Asking $11,900.
