This Toyota Land Cruiser is a legal direct import from Japan; I have been importing JDM engines by the container and decided to try complete vehicles.

This Land Cruiser is exempt from any EPA and DOT restrictions because it is over 25 years old. All of the hard work and waiting is completed, this vehicle comes with all of the documents you will need to get it registered in your name, all you will need to do is provide proof of insurance. Of course you will be responsible for insurance and sales tax and vehicle registration fees just like any other vehicle purchased on eBay or from any private individual.

This beautiful Land Cruiser has the factory options that are NOT available in the United States and with super low miles. In Japan public transportation is used for a majority of daily commuting, the roads are kept in very good condition, plus the vehicle inspection, maintenance, and repair is mandatory.

I do not think this Land Cruiser has ever been off road just judging by the undercarriage and overall condition. With low mileage this engine and drive train is just barely broken in.

Toyota 3B 3.4L Diesel Engine

The 3B engine is indirect injection which means it is a great candidate to run on waste vegetable oil, and does not have any electronics to fail in such events as extreme solar flares or an EMP discharge (accidental or otherwise). I have read articles where a second tank system of WVO was used and once the engine was started and warmed up on diesel the WVO was not even preheated. You will love the sound of this diesel engine running!

Air-Conditioning

What is an overland expedition vehicle without air-conditioning? Well you will not have to find out because this Land Cruiser comes with a top notch A/C unit (remember these are purchased to do cross country expeditions in some of the most harsh and unforgiving regions of the world) Note: A/C reconditioning is recommended.

Matching 15 inch wheels and tires including the spare. Tires have been replaced with the good condition ones.

The factory installed side steps are very stout and really add to the looks of this Land Cruiser

Interior

The interior of this rig is in great shape front bucket seats with console, rear bench seat, the carpet is in great condition and the dash does not have any cracks, all gauges work, speedometer is in Kilometers, but can be retrofitted by most local mechanics.

Rust

This Land cruiser does have some rust that is noted in the pictures, these rust areas are around the windows in the FRP top, it appears to be the frames of the window. This looks like a relatively easy repair, or you could treat the rust with rust stopper and just continue to enjoy the vehicle.

The important areas of the vehicle such as the frame and under carriage do not have any signs of rust, the floor pans, fender wells, and body are not affected, and the pictures show that the undercarriage is still painted black.

Due to import limitations into the United States it is getting harder to find these Land Cruisers in excellent condition, and they are costing so much more on the Japanese used car market than they did a few years back.

This Toyota is in really superb condition, it has so much to offer, it was hand selected in Japan tested to be radiation free before being shipped to the United States.

To buy a Toyota land cruiser in the United States and upgrade to a diesel engine, and add all of the other options and desirable parts you will have a vehicle with a lot more miles, and the cost will be the same or more.

This is a very safe, reliable and desirable vehicle, there is always going to be a market for a diesel Land Cruiser so you can easily get your money back if you decide to sell later on.
