Here I have THREE Motorola "Radius" CP100 business band walkie-talkies. They are the top of the line 2 watt, 15 channel UHF (460MHz) models - not the cheaper (and obsolete) VHF model. They are Narrowband Compliant. Each radio comes with a NiMH rechargeable battery pack (I can't seem to find the chargers, but they're only about $10 apiece), but they will also run on 4x AA batteries. I also only have two of the holsters (those are also pretty cheap, buy a few extras too). They are fantastic radios. They are very rugged and stand up to plenty of use and abuse.
-------
These are BUSINESS BAND radios, which means you need an FCC license to use them legally. They are NOT TOYS, so don't buy them for your kids to play with. If your business already uses UHF walkie talkies, then these will work under your current license. If you have never used Business Band radios before, you must apply for a license and pay the $260 fee (per frequency) to the FCC BEFORE YOU CAN LEGALLY TRANSMIT! Once your license is approved, you will be assigned a frequency (or frequencies) to operate on. This ensures that your radios do not interfere with other nearby businesses.
These are SIMPLEX ONLY, they are not compatible with duplex repeater operation.
-------
If you'd like, you can give me your licensed frequency(ies) and PL codes (if desired) and I will program the radios for you so they are ready to go. They are pretty straightforward to use, but the manual is available online if you need it (you'll need it to program them).
I am asking $145 per radio or $400 for the set of three. Cash, BUSINESS check, or credit card (+3% fee) only. NO PERSONAL CHECKS, NO EXCEPTIONS. If you are not local, I will ship to you for an additional $15 to cover postage and insurance.
