Job Summary

In this role, you will strengthen the Cooperative’s security framework by monitoring and protecting our networks, systems, and data from potential threats. You’ll engage management and employees through training and interactive initiatives while staying at the forefront of cybersecurity developments to proactively address emerging challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and maintain a robust security framework.

·         Monitor security systems, conduct risk assessments, and manage threat detection and remediation efforts

·         Lead cyber safety training initiatives to enhance awareness across the Cooperative.

·         Manage tools like endpoint detection solutions and Security Information and Event Monitoring (SIEM).

·         Perform audits, penetration testing, and vulnerability scanning, implementing necessary improvements.

·         Design and maintain a zero-trust network architecture to bolster defenses.

·         Research and recommend innovative security solutions tailored to evolving threats.

·         Partner with third parties and internal teams to promote a unified approach to cybersecurity.

Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field; or 5 years of relevant experience.

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

·         A proactive, organized professional with keen attention to detail and a team-oriented mindset.

·         Proven ability to research, assess, and implement effective cybersecurity measures.
