The Russell Housing Authority is seeking an Executive Director.
This position reports to the Board of Commissioners and manages a 78-unit public housing program. The Executive Director is responsible for the review and approval of applicants for housing, and collection of tenant rents and other charges. Ensures timely submission and accuracy of HUD required documentation, monitors for program compliance, and follows HUD policies and procedures. Monitors unit turnover for down time, make ready time, and lease up time for maximum rental income. Conducts annual NSPIRE standards inspections. Manage maintenance and custodial staff.
Ability to work independently, making appropriate decisions and judgements, and maintain confidentiality. Intermediate to advance experience with Microsoft Office products. Bachelor’s degree, or two years related experience and or training. Must maintain a valid driver’s license. Salary is negotiable depending on qualifications.
