This is about as close to the holy grail for modern Colt rifles as you can get. Up for sale is 1 of only 5 LE901 rifles that went through Colt Custom. Those 5 rifles were ordered by, and built for, San Bernadino SWAT as their DMR platform. All 5 were retired and put into surplus market in the last couple years. Colt Custom milled off the front sight to make it a better host for optics, added the gen 1 magpul prs stock, and finally hand fit and accurized the rifle. For those that don't know, the LE901 is a monolithic 308 caliber semi-auto rifle that was part of Colt's Modular Rifle program. The LE901 has the ability to change between calibers with a conversion kit that allows you to pin a milspec ar15 upper on the unique lower. This means that with one lower you can switch between AR10 calibers and AR15 calibers, it is really neat. The lowers are also fully ambi. This specific rifle currently has Nightforce NX8 2.5-20x50 optic in a Badger COMM mount, with a Griffin Armament Flashcomp, and a Harris/Badger customized bipod. The rifle will come with the original muzzle device, as well as the conversion kit to change uppers (the kits were sold separately, and are super expensive and hard to find now as well). For the complete rifle as it sits (minus suppressor of course), i am asking $7500. Without the optic, mount, or bipod, i will do $5500.
