If you can sit up or be propped up, you can ride this horse. I've had all ages on him including my 6 month old nephew, 2yo, 3yp, 8yo, and 9yo. All beginners. He was our first horse and he's been amazing for us. We are getting into new hobbies and don't have the time anymore.
