This lovely little lady is Delilah, she was found on the side of the highway outside of Garden City, KS. No owner came forward for her, and she was rail thin. We have been working on adding weight to her. She has been spayed, and is fully vaccinated, microchipped and on heart-worm prevention! 

She is learning how to play with toys and be the puppy she never got to be! She obviously has had at least one litter of pups, but now she wants to find her forever home! 
She loves to cuddle, and does pretty well in the house on potty! She’s kennel trained but  would prefer to be with you. She’s talkative with some funny grumbles, but will quickly lay down in kennel and rest. She’s never had an accident in the kennel. 

She’s nervous about some men, but others she warms up to quickly; the more she gets out and about she will be even better with meeting new friends! She’s petrified of things like fishing poles, so unfortunately she will not be your new fishing partner. 

She’s learning to walk nicely on leash but she does love to pull! There’s just so much to see and do! Does way better with a prong collar, and working on training any chance we get! Every day she’s getting better. She’s very smart, already learned “sit” “down” “spin” and working on a fun one “sit pretty” 🥹 she loves her people, will absolutely be a loyal friend to you!  She’s so treat motivated and is learning clicker training so fast! 

She’s a very nice low/medium energy dog, she would definitely love to go on a run with you, but also wouldn’t mind just laying around or going on a drive to RedBeard or Scooters 😉 

She took a bath very nicely, and even handled the high velocity drying okay, she stayed basically still for the whole bath! She also handles nail trims pretty well and can deal with them being filed down also! 

She does have a little drainage in her eye but it’s being treated and will likely clear up very fast!

Dogs friendly: YES, she will correct puppies for getting in her face, but nothing mean. She also does not want dogs around her food-bowl, seems okay around treats.. especially hand fed treats. Not sure about bones or other chews of sorts, but she is good with sharing toys! 

Cat friendly: YES, doesnt mind them or can be even a bit shy of them if they are dominant. 

People friendly: YES! (Can take a minute with some men, but most shes learned to like. Did ok with kids a few times in stores. Especially if they are older and understand boundaries and how to handle a dog!)
