Osborne County Memorial Hospital is hiring a registered nurse to oversee infection prevention and employee health. In the infection prevention role, the nurse will develop and implement infection control protocols, educate healthcare staff on infection prevention practices and monitor and investigate infection outbreaks, as well as other duties related to infection prevention. To support employee health, this role manages OCMH’s employee health records, including immunizations, injury reporting, tracking trends and identifying areas for improvement. This position requires an RN license and nursing experience in a healthcare setting. The infection prevention and employee health nurse will be expected to work daytime hours and may be asked to attend meetings or conferences outside of the “typical” workweek.
