Osborne County Memorial Hospital is seeking a cook to join our dietary team. This role serves in a front-line position, providing excellent patient care through delicious and healthy meals that meet patients' dietary needs. The successful candidate should have experience cooking in large batches, preparing balanced menus, and demonstrating efficient use of food inventory. Daily tasks include preparing and cooking meals, cleaning kitchen and workstations, delivering food to patients and effective collaboration with multiple departments. Dietary staff are responsible for checking food temperatures, disposing of outdated items, unloading and restocking groceries and maintaining inventory levels. Candidates should be self-directed and willing to work different shifts as needed, including weekend shifts once a month. Candidates with experience in healthcare food service or ServSafe certification are preferred but training is available upon hire. OCMH offers competitive pay and a full benefits package.
