Barton Community College is seeking applications for the position of Data Specialist for the Center of Adult Basic Education. This is a part-time grant funded position working 12 months, 10-15 hours per week, working days to be discussed with successful applicant. Position is responsible for maintaining documentation of participant’s demographic information, contacts and outcomes for Adult Education and the Kansas Board of Regents. Compiles information necessary for completion of reports related to the department including the development and maintenance of the AESIS database; assist in the collection and management of records and reports for KBOR and KDOC; and assist Coordinator of Adult Education and program staff in data management and reporting. Required qualifications: ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines; maintain confidentiality; excellent computer skills-specifically in word processing, spreadsheets and database management.
