Summary of Position:
● The Farm / Ranch Hand is responsible for the overall operation of a cow-calf operation, stalker program, and dryland farming.
● The person in this position must be highly organized, great with time management, and able to complete tasks in a timely fashion.
● This position collaborates with the farm manager on a daily basis to ensure tasks are being completed as needed.
● The person in this role has a lot of autonomy to complete tasks.
● The farm ranch hand must take pride in all work, take care of equipment, and have vehicles and equipment trucks in impeccable condition at all times, including being dust-free, vacuumed out, trash-free, and with clean windows.
● Vehicles shouldn't look like they're in new condition.
● The ideal candidate would have a commercial driver's license, strong cowboy skills, and the ability to ride a horse and rope off of the horse.
● They should also be able to doctor cattle and pull calves if needed, in addition to having strong agricultural skills, including driving and maintaining tractors, combines, swathers, balers, hay equipment, and all agricultural equipment.
● Operating payloaders and skid steers, as well as using a mailbag to feed cattle and a kicker truck.

● Running stocker cattle on corn stocks and/or grass.

Required Qualifications:
● Non-Smoker.
● Non-Vapor.
● Punctual.
● Extremely good attendance (can only miss 3 days; this includes absenteeism and tardiness in an annual 12-month period).
● Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
● Experience with cattle is required.
● Must be comfortable with a stocker operation and building electric fences.
● Ability to safely operate equipment that may include.
● 4-Wheeler.
● Water truck.
● Wheel loader.
● Skid Steer.
● Snowmobile.
● Tractor.
● Bailer.

● Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
● Works outdoors in all weather, must be able to lift 50 lb., must be in good physical condition,must be able to ride a horse or four-wheeler, and must have ability to dress for varying weather conditions.
