Barton Community College is seeking applications for a Dean of Academics. The Dean leads a division of faculty and staff members representative of programs and coursework applicable to the College’s transfer degrees. This is a full-time, 12-month replacement position with competitive salary and benefits. 

Qualifications: Master’s degree and 5-10 years of successful similar or related experience. A doctorate degree is preferred. The College is looking for applicants with exceptional leadership and management abilities; supervisory skills; an innovative spirit; experience in program design; marketing experience; student assessment knowledge; partnership abilities; and budget management skills. Experience with community college operations is preferred. Candidates should have the ability to influence and motivate others, demonstrate professionalism and diplomacy, facilitate teams, display excellent oral and written communications and have the capacity to address challenging situations.
