For sale I have a 1976 GMC 6500 truck, it was bought new by the Orleans NE fire department and was in regular use until two years ago when it was damaged in a wildland fire. I am the second owner, the truck runs and drives very well and has just over 8000 original miles but could use some attention on the brakes which get weak after sitting and the rear tires aren't the best. I believe it is a 366 engine with a manual transmission and 2 speed rear axle. The interior is in amazing condition for the age. Use it to haul water for cattle or pull the bed off and use it for many other things, I had hoped to put a flatbed on it and use it that way, the flatbed could be included in the sale for additional money.
