Cool little tobacco sunburst P-Bass Special! Fashioned after the legendary Fender Precision & Jazz bass. Its got the spilt California pickups in the neck and a single jazz pu in the bridge position. I put alot of work into this bass straitening the neck! Most of these maple Indonesian Squire necks always bow like a smiley face. Lol Truth! I bowed it back with heat and wood clamps. Also most of the truss rod nuts on these are stripped out because people think they're a standard allen wrench, but they're actually a 4 millimeter wrench. Since it's impossible to find this truss rod nut which is 4 mill x 10/32 of all things, I milled down a new Fender 1/4 x 10/32 nut, and also used washers to help straiten the neck, along with the clamps and heat as I mentioned. It also has a brand new fender, metal string spacer instead of the crappy plastic one it had. It plays awesome now! Not your run of the mill Squire, at least not now considering the neck is strait with great action! Nice bass for any genre, and excellent backup, or practice bass to your more expensive instrument.
