Grinnell Locker is looking for a reliable and hard-working processor to join our team. The processor will be a key person in our processing department and will have responsibility for processing meat, packaging meat, and running equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be detail-oriented and possess the experience to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Applicant must be able to lift at least 50 lbs, stand for long periods of time, and tolerate cold/hot environments. Pay would start at $16 per hour and would increase based on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing Meat, this includes trimming, deboning, grinding, handling, tying, and packaging.
• Running Equipment, including but not limited to the grinder and stuffer.
• Making Retail Products, this ranges from whole muscle products to Ready to Eat snack sticks.
• Cleaning, this would include equipment and floors.
• Completing necessary paperwork to remain Kansas State Compliant.
