Bannerman Model 1896 shotgun chambered in 12 gauge. The chamber length on these shotguns are 2 1/2" (not the modern 2 3/4") and should be fired with only black powder or very very light smokeless loads.
The Bannerman 1896 is an updated version on the Spencer 1882 shotgun. One of the first pump shotguns produced. Uses a pivoting breech instead of the more common bolt.
This example has a 30" barrel. Faint checkering is left on the wrist of the stock, the pump handle is cracked but has been glued back together. The left action bar has been brazed but does not impeed function. The action cycles well. Bore is dark but no pitting.
Willing to trade for odd, obsure, and obsolete firearms.
