Mr Tovi is coming along as far as other people are concerned.
He is becoming more relaxed with boys and men in his world 1 day at a time.  This sweet boy is treat motivated and will sit for a young man who lives in our home so his focus is on the snack instead of the fear fed anxiety that he now has.  When the fear is removed he sits for the snack and allows the young man to go about his business without Tovi constantly barking.
He loves going for car rides and watching squirrels and rabbits.  His sploot is the cutest thing and a bonus is that he is crate trained.  He is very handsome and has earned the label “handsome Spam”.  
Being at home with his ppl is were he prefers.  He loves a good bed, belly rubs and ear scratches.  He will sploot on my food when mildly anxious like some how plugging into a centering station lol.  He really is the bestest boy and loves his ppl.

BIOGRAPHY: Tovi is a very loving dog. He is very relaxed and chill. He enjoys chewing on bones and tearing apart as many stuffy toys as you will give him! He loves to give you lots of love and follow you around the house to make absolutely sure you are giving the exact right amount of treats! He loads in his cage with all of his toys very easy. He has learned to walk using a prong collar due to pulling when he sees squirrels.  He knows how to use a doggie door, loads and unloads from a truck, can wait unsupervised in a vehicle for a period of time.  

Behavioral issues: Does hide/bury toys and guard toys but releases when treats are presented.  May struggle with resource guarders in the home as he also wants to chew/play with toys. Toys and chews must be given to him in his kennel.
Medical issues: NONE 

Has developed hesitancy with new people especially teenage boys and men.  He is learning to trust them in his current foster home and warms up given time to trust.

HISTORY: Owner left him with a roommate. He is stated to be playful with children, stated to be playful with other dogs when the other dogs are more timid.  He has done well with some male dogs and female dogs.  If he looks like a good fit for you please reach out so that we can arrange a meet and greet.
