This position is responsible for the management and care of up to 200 replacement heifers, 350 cows and their calves, and 200 stocker cattle both locally and at distant sites. The incumbent also provides leadership to a research program in cow/calf production. This position is on-site. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma, One year of experience in agricultural or animal sciences Preferred Qualifications: BS degree in animal science; 4 years hand on experience with cattle, Artificial insemination techniques, pregnancy detection, estrus detection, animal health assessment, and computer literacy.
