1973 Mach 1 Mustang original 351 Cleveland, stock 2v carburetor w/ Pertronix electronic ignition. I don’t believe 4v was available in ‘73 owing to new Federal emissions regulations. The car has a clean Kansas Antique title. It shows as Exempt From Actual Mileage owing to the restoration. At the time of purchase (1998) it showed 26,700 miles with the odometer having turned over. Full restoration completed in April 2005. This was a project car my son bought when he was in 6th grade. This car had no major collision damage, but the left front fender was replaced with an original owing to a minor dent. Since the restoration it has been garage stored and driven less than 5k miles + or -. The paint is in good condition but not perfect, with general minor wear. Interior is in good condition. No trades.
The car was completely stripped down with the motor, transmission, brakes suspension, and electrical system rebuilt. All the bolt on parts on the motor have been replaced. It was blasted down to bare metal and painted its current yellow. The floor pans were rusted out as were the rear fender wells. All were cut out and replaced with a new floor pan from front to rear. The rear quarters were replaced w NOS.
We have tons of photos of the restoration and more of the car’s current condition. These pics were taken in September 2024. Add’l pics available on request.
While the car is currently w/ my son in the Kansas City metro area, I’ll be handling the sale from Manhattan since I’m retired and my son works. However, I get to the Colorado Springs/Denver area probably quarterly and would be willing to deliver anywhere along I-70 between KC and the Springs for the right price.
Will only negotiate price in person. If you’re serious about buying it, come take a look.
