Position Summary
Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems is currently seeking a full-time Health Information Associate to join our experienced staff. This position is responsible for maintaining health information in accordance with established policies and procedures of the Health Information Management Department. Key duties include assisting in release of information and obtaining authorizations, purging medical records, performing document image process after preparing documents, and analyzing paper records for scanning. Qualifications:

• College desirable
• Theory concepts of Business Management, Process-Management knowledge preferred
• Overall understanding and appreciation of healthcare information business
