Description

Ashley's Auction would like to say, Thank You for those that were able to attend the Roy Drullinger Auction held this past weekend.  December 13th & 14th, in Kirwin, Ks.  With over 300 in attendance it made the auction great success.  Here at Ashley's we know that these Auction would not be possible if it were not for both great Buyer's and Seller's.  Once again, Thank You!  Have a Happy, Safe, Holiday Season & a Fantastic New Year!  From all of us at Ashley's Auction.

As Roy would say, Happy Trails!

Now for a little fun..  Here is something for thought.  You'll have to stay with it when reading.  Hint, it's all in the numbers.

3 Real Estate Investors decide to invest in a fixer up property for $300,000.  That makes each one of the investors paying $100,000 each.  The Seller gets to feeling bad about charging the ivestors so much for a property that needed so much work.  So the Seller decides to give his property manager $50,000 to refund to the buyer's.  On the way there the Property manager gets to thinking.... I can't divide $50,000 equally between these 3 guys.  So, the property Manager takes it upon himself to put $20K in a saving account and then goes and refunds $10,000 to each one of the Buyer's.  (This is where things don't match up.)

If each one of the Buyer's paid a $100K each and then got $10K refunded to them.  That would make each one of the buyer's paying $90,000 right?  3 times $90,000 is $270,000 right?  The Seller's property Manager put $20,000 in a savings account.

$270,000 + $20,000 = $290.000 right?  Where did that other $10 Grand go?
