Description

1988 Ford F 250 4 x 4 Flatbed.  5 speed.  7.5 liter on propane.   Truck has a little rust, however there are no known rust perforations into the cab.   I bought this a year ago to pull my trailer, however now a year has gone by and I haven’t really used it as much as I thought I would, so considering letting it go, as I have a company truck to drive to work and 2 ½ other running trucks.   Since I have owned it I have put new steering tie rod ends on it, new rear shocks, and new brake shoes.   Truck still needs a little work, and is drivable as is, but brakes still need a little adjustment and bleeding, and toe on front end needs adjusted since new tie rod ends were installed.   This is a fuel injected truck, but has an Impco propane carburation system in the air intake hoses, which appears to have been on the truck for a long time.  Propane tank is an 83 gallon tank.  Truck is not operable on gasoline, as gasoline tanks were removed long ago.   Engine runs good, sounds good, and has dual glasspack mufflers.   Transmission has normal 5 speed issues.  4 wheel drive works.  Yokohama Geolander tires have ~ 60% tread left.  Paint is pretty good.   Although it looks like it in the picture, right hand door is NOT caved in – the trim piece just has a bow in it.  Cab is pretty clean, isn’t moused out, and doesn’t smell bad.  Seats and carpet are clean and pretty decent, with exception of one hole worn in driver’s seat.  This would be a great truck to hunt coyotes with or check cattle in to not tear up your $80K good truck, and it’s still good enough to work out of, or would be a good candidate to customize and fix up, however if you’re expecting a show truck, or one that doesn’t need a little work done on, this one isn’t for you.  Truck has a clear Nebraska title in my name, with just short of 220000 miles on the speedometer.   Asking $4750 OBO CASH – no checks, paypal, Venmo, IOU’s, payment plans, trades, etc, nor am I interested in having you sell it for me. Truck is located 55 miles southwest of Lincoln, NE.  Contact me on Nextec if interested.
