The City of Russell is seeking professional and community-oriented individuals for a full-time Water/Wastewater Maintenance Worker.

This position includes maintenance/repair of the City’s vital Water Distribution and Wastewater Systems. The employee will be provided with on-the-job training with opportunities for certification and continuing education. The applicant is responsible for knowing and performing a variety of skilled tasks, including operating job-related equipment and assisting fellow employees as required. Applicants must possess a high school diploma or G.E.D. and have a valid Driver’s License with the ability to obtain a minimum of a Class B Commercial Driver’s License with Air Brakes and Tanker endorsements within 12 months of hire date. There are no residency requirements for this position, subject to response times as administratively determined and required for each department. Pre-employment background check, drug screening and job placement assessment are required.
