This is a 5-STRING YAMAHA ELECTRIC BASS GUITAR. Model RBX765A. Most likely made in the 1990's. Color is TRANSPARENT RED.

This is a solid well-made bass with some light bumps, scuffs, scratches and dings. Nothing distracting or that effects the playability of the instrument. Judging from the sticker on the headstock for a serial number, this may have originally been sold as a factory second. 45-130 gauge strings. Active electronics; volume, pickup blend, treble and bass controls. Uses a 9-volt battery. Everything works as it should, and it PLAYS GREAT!

I have completely serviced the bass... replaced the nut, installed new strings (D'Addario EXL170), cleaned the body and neck, cleaned and conditioned the fingerboard, cleaned and polished the frets, adjusted the neck and bridge, adjusted the intonation, etc. You may want to tweak it for your style of play and comfort, but by all standards... READY TO PLAY!
