Trego County Lemke Memorial Hospital - Environmental Services department is looking for a full-time Housekeeper. 

Full-time position – 2 weekends per month & some holidays.

Position Overview

Cleans and maintains cleanliness assigned areas of the Hospital, Long Term Care and Clinic(s).

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs all assigned tasks in a professional manner to reflect the highest integrity of the Environmental Services department.
  • Performs routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest room, corridors, left in a neat and sanitary manner.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality.
  • Assists visitors with directions whenever requested.
  • Follows all infection control practices including hand washing techniques, standard precautions and isolation precautions.
  • Completes work assignments in a timely manner.
  • Utilizes the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure.
  • Uses and maintains equipment properly.

QUALIFICATIONS

·         High school graduate or equivalent.
