This Necchi Supernova is a quality Italian all metal sewing machine produced in the 50's. Keep it lubed and it will run forever. All mechanisms have been inspected to ensure function. The old oil has been cleaned out and it has been re-lubed and serviced. This machine is ready to sew. These machines are known for their reliability and power for a home machine. These machines were top of the line in it's time. It is cream and pink color and has a very sleek and modern look compared to other machines of the era. As pictured it will sew through multiple layers of heavier coated polyester.
This machine is fairly rare and is collectable, It will outsew and outlast any cheaper modern machine. It comes with a carrying case and the foot pedal. It does not have any cams for doing pattern stitches. The cam set can be purchased on ebay for $30-$60. Without the cam system it will do a standard zig-zag and straight stitch.
