Position Overview
Responsible for providing personal executive support and assistance to executive staff and directors of departments. Is an independent worker, meeting the day-to-day needs of the Administrator/Chief Executive Officer. Performs a variety of administrative, secretarial and clerical duties. This role is to nurture relationships between TCLMH and its employees, external organizations, the media, and their local and virtual community. They also support marketing initiatives and act as a representative for TCLMH at corporate or public events
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Coordinates meetings and makes conference room reservations for both in-house functions and at the request of outside vendors needing a meeting place in the area or for fundraising events.
· Collects and enters Community Benefit information into database for annual reporting purposes. Rolls over information to the Kansas Hospital Association when prompted.
· Assists with revisions and assures uniform formatting to policies and procedures and departmental forms documents.
· Edits and submits press releases, articles, and advertisements to be featured in newspapers, TCLMH website and intranet, etc. At the direction of the CEO, coordinates contact with media.
· Creating marketing materials such as flyers, brochures to keep the public and staff informed.
· Ordering/organizing staff functions, such as Hospital Week/Christmas meal/gifts.
· Working with all Hospital Departments on promotional events/awareness marketing.
· Helps with Community Health Needs Assessment.
· Accepts other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
· A.A. in Office or Business Administration required
· Preferred 1 to 3 years’ experience providing support at the executive level
· Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications
· Must be able to maintain confidentiality
· Attention to detail
