We are seeking a full -time dedicated and knowledgeable Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Midwest Family Health. The RRT/RN’s primary responsibilities will be setting up and educating patients on Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) devices, both in person and through telehealth services, and leading the RRT/RN team to ensure optimal patient care and adherence to treatment protocols.

KEY CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Patient Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' respiratory needs and medical histories to determine appropriate respiratory therapy (such as APAP, CPAP, BiPAP).
- Device Setup: Properly set up equipment for patients, ensuring devices are functioning correctly and meet prescribed specifications.
- Patient Education: Provide comprehensive education to patients and their families on the use of machines, including operational instructions, mask fitting, and troubleshooting.
- Follow-Up Care: Schedule and conduct follow-up visits to monitor patient compliance and comfort with their therapy, making adjustments as necessary.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, equipment setups, and follow-up assessments in compliance with company policies and healthcare regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, sleep specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure the best outcomes for patients.
- Technical Support: Provide ongoing technical support for patients, addressing any concerns or issues related to their therapy devices.
- Compliance: Stay updated on industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to respiratory care and DME.
