I’ve got a Springfield Operator in 10mil with a professional and quite fetching, if I do say so myself, cerakote job. No worries about some schmuck at the range showing up with the same gear. 
To put it mildly, I’ve owned a lot of 1911 platforms. You will not get an equivalent 10mm 1911 anywhere south of $2k. Probably $2.5k realistically. If you want a piece of kit that’s perfectly fine reliably knocking down predators regardless of if they have two legs or four, this is your gun.
Plenty of mags and ammo available for the right deal. 10mm gear is kind of a guilty pleasure for me. People with genuine interest are welcome to try the gun out on my personal range before buying.
