Santa Barbara model 1000 chambered in .30-06 with a Bushnell 4x12 scope. These were built on commercial Mauser actions and imported by Santa Barbara in the 70s and 80s. It's plain and well-used but is a good shooter chambered in a good cartridge. It has a professionally installed recoil pad. The rifle is quite heavy for a sporter. I bought this years ago with the intention of building a .35 Whelen on it and it would certainly be good for that, but I've lost interest in that project. Might be interested in trades for a nice .222 or vintage .22 small bore target rifle.
