This M. Schulz upright piano dates to the 1910s.  On Sunday afternoon (9/29/2024), it will be sitting on the porch at 515 W 9th St in La Crosse.  If you want it, it's yours for the taking.  If you stop by while my husband is home, he would help you load it.  He tells me it isn't going to be there for long, so act quickly!

The wood case is lovely; it was refinished in the 1980s, but a couple of the hammers need some work, and one of the ivory key caps needs to be repaired.  In order to be played, it would need to be tuned.

Many people are taking old upright pianos and repurposing them into other pieces of furniture.  There is a fabulous upright piano bar on Etsy, and at TinkerTunes dot com you can view a variety of desks made from old upright pianos.  I've included a couple of photos of these finished pieces to give you an idea of the possibilities.  I do NOT have these items for sale.  If you are creative and handy, this is the project for you!
