The City of Russell is seeking professional and community-oriented individuals for a full-time Assistant Golf Course Superintendent position.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license and must be at least 18 years of age or older. The applicant in this position assists the Golf Course Superintendent to ensure that annual golf course maintenance budget and capital plans are maintained and followed, along with planning the maintenance and repair of golf course improvements to facilities and the calculation of needed materials and material cost for all projects. Communicates as necessary with other departments to discuss conditions of facilities, maintenance plans and scheduled events. This position is also responsible for helping supervise and direct the care and maintenance of the city golf course. Applicant will oversee the maintenance and construction of the golf course and ensure that grass is repaired and maintained to established standards.
There are no residency requirements for this position, subject to response times as administratively determined and required for each department. Pre-employment drug screening, background check and job placement assessment are required. Salary will be dependent on qualifications.
