Description

I'm looking to sell my John Deere lawn mower that has been used for pushing neighborhood snow. (I believe its a 2005) Please read description.

The good of the smaller, is it has been a reliable machine that doesn't have an absurd amount of hours. It has two new front wheels and tires, a new starter relay, a new ignition switch, a new seat, new steering wheel, the battery was put in new of October of 23. It has a hitch on the rear that can still pull a garden trailer around, but also used for moving full size trailers as it has a 2-inch ball on it. The deck is a 42 in John Deere deck that was lightly rebuilt with new bearings and all the different parts as of 2022. It hasn't been used a super whole lot, and it's not perfect. The blade on it is in good condition. That is a 46 inch blade. The tractor comes with snow chains as well.

As per the bad, the blade is not a John Deere blade, it was made to work and the amounts were welded to the mower frame. This means the hood has some slits in it to allow it to open around them. Not a big deal but it is in the pictures if you can see it. The blade works great and has cleared countless miles of neighborhood sidewalks and driveways.

This mower has been well loved and unfortunately now in the last month and a half, it doesn't want to start. A month and a half ago it would crank with nothing, and now when you turn the key it will not even work the starter. I'm not sure what's wrong whether it's an electrical connection or a mechanical issue, however this just arised and unfortunately it looks as though I'm going to be buying a new machine for the neighborhood. I'm hoping somebody with mechanical experience will buy this at a reasonable price to help fund the new machine so that I can do the neighbor sidewalks and driveways.
