Resume's are being accepted for the Executive Director's (or co-director) position at the Northwest Kansas Planning & Development Commission, located in Hill City, Kansas.  The organization(s) do a variety of economic development activities for the 18 Northwest Kansas Counties.  These include grant applications for water, sewer, roads, EMS, fire trucks, community facilities, etc. and business loan applications for any business startup or expansion (the organization typically finances $15-$25 million in business loans each year).  A third organization (which is seperate but affiliated) is the non-profit housing organization, which have constructed 140 houses or duplex units in NW Kansas.  The organization is governed by a board of directors that include a county commissioner from each of the 18 counties, plus nine "at-large" board members.  Resume's will be accepted until the position is filled.  The current director is willing to stay on part time during a transition period.  Numerous trainng classes are available.  The salary is negotiable within the approved budget.  If you have any questions, ask for Randall at 785-421-2151 or email nwkpdc@ruraltel.net
