Trego County Lemke Memorial Hospital's Radiology department is looking for a full-time Radiology Tech.

Full-time position - Shared call rotation

Position Overview

Performs a variety of imaging procedures and is responsible for patient care and safety. Functions as the first line staff with customers in the successful accomplishment of their needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Able to operate and understand radiologic technology, including using x-ray equipment to get correct and clear scans of anatomy.

·         Ensure infection control standards.

·         Ensure that emergency care is provided to patients who experience an adverse reaction to contrast agents in the radiology department.

·         Ensure that files, scans, and other image records are kept in a secure area and are readily retrievable.

·         Skilled at listening and interacting with patients.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

·         High school graduate: B.S. degree preferred

·         Graduation from an AMA approved school of Radiology Technology

·         Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist

·         Current BLS

·         At least one year in a department with diagnostic experience

·         Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
