PART TIME JAILER

The Trego County Sheriff’s Office is also taking applications for part- time Jailer Position.  Jail duties will include, but not limited to, preparing and serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, some prep cooking duties, administering inmate medication, collecting and doing laundry. 

Salary is dependent on any previous law enforcement experience or other qualifying experience and education in related field.

Minimum qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Undergo applicable background checks
• Kansas Driver’s License
• Must be 18 years of age
• Must be able to act without direct supervision and exercise independent judgment
• No Felony convictions or disqualifying criminal history
