KIT connects truck without the need for cutting or splicing into the truck wire harness.                                Plug-N-Play connects in line with the vehicle's wire harness connector for trailer connections with factory compatible connectors. Plug-N-Play harness provides all connections needed for the tailgate light.                         BE SURE TO CHECK clearance with vehicle's tailgate when down.This is easily addressed by ensuring the light is fitted low enough on the vehicle.
