Antique Marlin Model 1881 Mfg in 1885 was probably a special order as it has the shorter 24in barrel. Its in caliber 40-60 Marlin Black Powder. The rifle is still in very nice shape, stil has some orginal finish. Has a factory letter with the rifle.
