The College of Education at Fort Hays State University is searching for an Academic Program Specialist in the Office of Field Experiences and Licensure. The Academic Program Specialist’s job duties include supporting students in the Transition to Teaching program including guidance and direction regarding qualification requirements, reporting for licensure requirements, and professional interaction with both internal and external entities including school district and the Kansas State Department of Education personnel.
Minimum qualifications for the position include a high school diploma or GED equivalency and two years of office experience or two years of post-secondary education. The screening of applicants will begin on July 8th and the projected start date is sometime in August. The wage for the position is $16.23 per hour with additional benefits including health insurance, retirement, and free FHSU tuition for the employee, spouse, and dependents.
