Pre '64 Winchester Model 70 chambered in .220 Swift.  Winchester chambered the Model 70 in .220 Swift from 1936 until 1964, I have not done a serial number check to see the date of manufacture, but it appears to be an early one.  Rifle is original, however, the original open sights are gone, the dovetails they mounted in are still good and these could be easily replaced.  The stock still has the original checkered steel buttplate, but a former owner did remove wood presumably to mount a receiver sight.  The removed wood has been replaced, rather well, but you can still see it (pictures).  Rifle comes with good Redfield scope mount and rings and also a very good condition set of RCBS reloading dies and 175 pieces of fired brass.  Pre '64 Model 70s are quite collectable and this one is in an unusual chambering.  Please feel free to ask questions.  I prefer not to ship, however, I will do so on the buyer's dime through the USPS and it must go to a licensed FFL.  Text seven-eight-five-three-zero-seven-zero-two-one-seven.
