This knife won Best Fixed Blade Knife of 2013 in Field and Stream's "Best of" series. Designed by Oregon custom knifemaker Shane Sibert, the Bushcrafter (162) is a super-tough drop-point utility knife that can be used for just about any outdoor purpose. It is a perfect knife to have by your side when an emergency happens.
The steel used is S30V, an amazing crucible steel known for its superior edge holding ability, as well as its corrosion resistance. Hand-blended and contoured green G10 handle slabs with red vulcanized spacer and titanium-tubing rivets holding the slabs in place mean this knife is strong. The wasp waist profile feels comfortable and secure.
A brushed full-grain buckskin leather sheath with D-ring and flint rod loop and retention strap accompany this knife.
