This is a great lite weight scope for any platform, where you want the ability to shoot up close or out to medium distances (0- 300 yards). It also has the throw lever for quick magnification changes. Add to that, the Fire Dot reticle. At 1x it makes this scope the same as any other red dot for the truly up close work. If you have not seen this type of reticle it has a red dot where the crosshairs meet, that can be turned on and off and with diffrent levels. This feature is also very helpful for quick targeting at longer ranges and higher magnification. It was on a new bolt gun for a trip to the range. I sold that firearm but still have the scope. That is the only "work" this scope has seen. Please check Leupold's site of their price and any other information you might need.
