PLEASE READ EVERYTHING FIRST BEFORE ASKING QUESTIONS. I'M A BIT LONG WINDED BUT ALSO PRETTY SURE I HAVE COVERED MOST EVERY QUESTION YOU CAN COME UP WITH. IF I MISSED SOMETHING THEN SURE - QUESTIONS ARE WELCOME AND I'M USUALLY PRETTY QUICK TO ANSWER.

I don't try to hide anything by taking pictures at night or cropping images or the use of very specific camera angles like a lot of rip-offs out there. What you see is what it is. Want a close up image of something? Simply ask.

If you are looking for a driver, be it daily, a weekly grocery get'r or just looking for something to take the whole family on a vacation coming up this spring? This might be a car you would want to look at. Got a kid who is looking for their first car and want it to be solid and safe? Need something reliable to get you back and forth to work? How about a car your not afraid to put in a parking lot cause it might get dinged or scratched? Need some really decent fuel mileage with an engine that starts right up on the coldest or hottest of days? Need something that is not overly complicated and insanely over engineered? Do you like cars that sound like cars and not some bicycle or scooter? Want to work on your own vehicles without paying a stealership or your local mechanic? Do you like to do things the old fashioned way like actually look at your tires to see if they need air? How about a custom built real wood floor console? THIS MIGHT BE YOUR CAR!

NEEDS NOTHING: Get in it and drive to California or New York or Houston or where ever life takes you and you will not have to do a single thing first. It's garage kept now and fully serviced including ALL fluids. Has no leaks, runs, drips or errors either hot or cold. Brakes have been inspected and have tons of mileage left on them. Tires, Wheels, and Lug Nuts are 100 percent new. AC is fully functional and super cold running on R134A. Heater actually puts out hot air as intended. Lighting for both interior and exterior fully functional. Electric windows go up and down. Electric seat works. Electrically and Mechanically this car is as solid as the day it was brand new.

Tilt Wheel - Power Steering - AC - Cruise Control - Power Brakes - Interval Wipers - Electric Seats - Electric Windows - Radio w/CD - 56,000 Original and Verified Miles - All Original Interior - Dual Exhaust w/ No Cats - Rear Window Defroster - Engine Block Heater - Tinted Windows - LH and RH Remote Control Mirrors.

Never been wrecked - Never been repainted - Has NO RUST. All Glass, front, rear and sides remains perfect - No mice or critters ever. Based on a very close inspection I doubt even children have ever been in this car.

I had originally bought it sight unseen to park in my garage as an occasional weekend driver for my wife and I. Problem is that upon arrival it was obvious the original owner had lied to me. Paint was not perfect like he said. Has no dents, he told me - Vinyl Roof in good condition - None of that was true. I have now found what I think is the right car so now this one is for sale.

HERE IS THE ACTUAL TRUTH ABOUT THIS CAR: Yes, it has a few dents and I have determined them to be fairly light hail damage. A decent PDR guy could get them out if you really wanted. Paint displays darn good but it's already as shiny as it is going to get. Car has been detailed inside and out. I am an "Old Car Guy" and have removed the original red padded vinyl roof that was cracked and torn and replaced it with a textured finish white bed liner. What this really means is it's now significantly more durable and won't ever need replaced again. A new vinyl roof could be installed right over this if you thought you wanted one. I'm not sure why anyone would want to put a troublesome vinyl roof back on but that might be your thing. I have used bed liner multiple times on multiple vehicles, for multiple years and in multiple locations. It works flawlessly and is extremely durable. When we got the car I thought it was way too much red anyway so the white has fixed that visual issue and unless you actually touch the roof their is nothing to distinguish that it is not vinyl anyway. While the interior seating, carpet, door panels and trim are in super good condition the headliner has some light drooping (ask for images) but it's not falling down by any means. In fact if you touch it and press upward the glue re-grabs and now there is nothing. Dash - Steering Wheel - Gauge Cluster - Radio - Clock - HVAC Controls and Glove Compartment are all in premium - as new - condition.

HERE IS SOME ADDITIONAL INFO THAT MAY BE HELPFUL:
1985 Ford LTD Crown Victoria and it's sister the Mercury Marquis uses Fords Panther platform that was introduced in 1980. This removed 18 inches in length and 1000 pounds from the previous 73-78 LTD & Mercury Marquis. In 85 the dashboard had multiple updates. The climate and audio controls were re-designed and this retired the 8-track cassette option. Horn controls were relocated from the turn-signal stalk to the steering-wheel hub. In 1985 Ford sold 185,612 of the Sedan making it the highest sales record for 79-91. This is a good thing when looking for replacement parts however many aftermarket manufactures are still making parts for this car. A great number of Police Departments and State Highway Patrol Units bought and used these cars for their fleets due to their low maintenance requirements, low cost of repair and longevity of service. PLEASE NOTE THIS CAR IS NOT AN EX POLICE VEHICLE.

ORIGINAL ITEMS INCLUDED IF YOU PURCHASE: Original Factory/Dealership Window Sticker  - Factory Assembly Line Punch Card (I can tell you from experience these are very rarely found unmolested if at all) - Michelin Tire Warranty Card - Ford Warranty Card - Ford Maintenance Schedule - Dealership Selling Invoice - Warranty ID Owner Card - Original Factory Spare Tire on Rim that has never been on the ground.

If you need more information - or maybe additional images (I have about 90) - or even a video or two then feel free to email me via Nextech relay. Always willing to work with any transport carrier of your choice or I can simply arrange this for you. Typically a 8-9-10 hour one way travel distance for a professional insured transport is $600 or so. If you are within a 4 hour drive of me I can usually transport with my own equipment for a smaller fee. Multiple character references always available and given upon request.

There are a couple ways to handle payment. The best way is to just show up with cash in hand but there is another method I have used couple of times and it works also. I take the CLEAR KANSAS TITLE that is in MY NAME along with your email address and I go to the bank where a loan officer acts as a third party. They will then email you all the required info to complete payment. Once the wire transfer or other payment form is made (checks are OK but must clear first), then the title will be mailed to you by the bank along with a Bill-of-Sale. Upon completion then we can proceed with transport if that is how you wish to do it.

I'M AN OLD FART SO DON'T REALLY UNDERSTAND VENMO AND THOSE OTHER WEIRD PAYMENT THINGS - CASH IN PERSON AND YOU HAUL AND/OR DRIVE AWAY IS ALWAYS A PRETTY GOOD WAY TO HANDLE THINGS.

IN CLOSING: Today before posting this I took the car out on a paved country road and ran it up to about 100 MPH. I took my hands off the wheel and car just travels straight down the road and runs flawlessly. One needs to look pretty hard to find a car like this these days.

Use the Nextech Mail Relay first and then we can do the phone - text thing. If you are a scammer then don't bother - I've seen them all and I have a real job - you should try it!

THANKS FOR LOOKING - HAVE A GREAT DAY!
