This summer I decided to build this shed the inside of it is 12x30 and then the overhang is about 4’. I have decided to get out of goat business so I don’t have a use for this shed. The shed has never had and animal inside of it. The frame is painted and it was built with all new materials. It’s built out of heavy metal so that it will last a lifetime. It has 6” pipe slides with tow hooks so that it can be pulled from one place to another if needed. The best feature in my opinion is that I have wired it (and it works) so that there are lights and a total of 12 electrical outlets. I designed the shed to be used for kidding so it can be split into 6 pens and then the is an alley wagon between the pens. The shed is the same as a cattle shed from Larson Metal. All of the gates and panels are removable so that after the kidding season is done you can can have a nice large shelter for your livestock. All the gates have slide lock latches. The gates and panels are also designed so that the kids can’t get through them, I talked to the manager of the sheep and goat unit at OSU to learn how far apart the bars are on their fence.
