Thank you!
It had not been used for the last 2 years so I hooked it up inside house and it heated right up like a charm. I let it run for a day and it works like a new one.
I just don't need it for my camper or bus/van conversion since my camper has a camper RV water heater still working and I plan to go with no hot water system in my bus/van conversion system that does not have a shower in it anyway so I don't need hot water.
$75 is my bottom dollar price since they are selling for about $275 with tax at Home Depot and Amazon.
That saves you $200 compared to getting a new one.
As you might know, it keeps the water regulated at any warm, hot or scauding hot temperature all day long depending on the setting you set it at with the dial.
The unit will not use electricity the entire time since it is well insulated and will maintain the heat inside for many hours before turning on again automatically to keep the hot water ready for your next use at the temperature you choose with the dial setting on the front of it.
When you just start out with cold water inside it then it takes 30 minutes to get hot where you would wash your hands or take a shower for example. In 40 minutes it gets scalding hot if you set it to MAX.
Therefore, as long as you don't use all 7 gallons of water you will still have that hot water at the temperature you choose.
Most people use it in the house for places where it takes too long to get the hot water to a sink, shower, etc. area.
However, many people also use it for campers, motorhomes, tiny houses, garages, workshops, etc.
The manual says you need to replace the anode rod inside, which only takes minutes to do, after each two year period.
They cost $20 on Amazon so whoever purchases this might as well do that soon since this unit is a little over 2 years old.
I put a brand new high gauge 15 foot cord on this in case I did use it in my camper or bus conversion. That is why I took a photo of the long cord I put on it.
Again, call me if you want this and here is more info below.
