The Fort Hays State University Foundation team is hiring for the following position:
Maintenance and Repair Technician
The Maintenance and Repair Technician manages and maintains the internal and external maintenance and upkeep of the Robbins Center facility, including, but not limited to custodial, utilities, basic carpentry, heating/cooling, building equipment, systems, pest control, and all other regular and irregular building maintenance, repair, and special projects. This individual will perform semi-skilled work related to building and grounds maintenance; may provide coordination with and assistance to skilled or highly skilled positions in other more skilled craft areas. The Maintenance and Repair Technician will also monitor the Robbins Center facility and perform maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and inspections.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required along with 3+ years of experience working in a maintenance/repair (or related area) capacity. A degree from a trade school is preferred, as well as individuals with knowledge of tools, materials, and methods used in general maintenance and repair work.
